Hi all, not sure if having a flare or not. We had a ride out to wales yesterday and had a walk along the beach. Today at work i had to work with someone else and i had the most useless chair! I couldn't get the height right and i kept trying to get my feet flat on the floor for stability. I was up and down all day, and after driving home, i could hardly get out of the car. I was aching all over. My feet feel really painful and my left one feels as though i'm going to get pins and needles in it. It just feels weird. Fizzy. I'm in work tomorrow again and Tuesdays are the most bussiest daySad

To make me feel even worse, i was 40 on Wednesday and i didn't take my MXT as i was out 4 nights on the trot. Not going mad but i had wine every night.Sad Am i just feeling guilty as i could have messed up my system, especially as my white cell count keeps dropping. I have been put back on to fortnightly blood tests againSad

The funny thing is though, at my party on Saturday, i looked absolutly fab, and i look really well(had a spray tan and everything), but i can't help thinking i've burt the candle too much at one endScared

bye for now, dawnybee

Hi Dawnbee

Sorry you're going through a flare at the moment, and that it spoilt your birthday. Happy belated birthday!

I wouldn't have thought missing one week would do anything serious to your system, as it takes months for MTX to get into your system and start working properly, so the reverse should be true. However, I would advise you to have your blood tests as usual, so that anything untoward will be spotted.

Hope you feel better today

Lyn

A belated Happy Birthday- sounds like oyu had a good time.

Ihope you recover quickly- if you have overdone it, I suppose you're entitled to on your 40th! I'm often guilty of doing too much then paying for it afterwards.

Have a good rest

Maria

Hi there Dawnybee,
'Hope your feet are settling down again.
Birthdays are a time to celebrate and I was
happy to hear you enjoyed yours.
I had 7 months of no R.A flares and then I
started to flare again recently.
Nothing too horrendous and I'm hoping
that with time things will settle down again for me.
Best wishes,
FionaSmile
